2009 Results

Results from 17th May 2009

What a great day! Despite a wet start to the day, the rain stopped long enough for the runs to take place.

936 runners took part in the 2009 event, 1 up from 2008.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers – around 150 of them – who turned out to make the whole event possible.

The Mary Dearlove trophy for the oldest participant in any race was won again by Arthur Bundy.

Full results are detailed below. Please click here to access our contact page if you have any queries.

Our thanks to Lamberts of Hook for their sponsorship.

This takes you to a PhotoBox gallery that contains all the pics from the day. A percentage of the amount you pay comes back to us.

Getting copies of the photos – there are a number of ways for you to get copies:

PhotoBox themselves offer an online print service and will send them to you directly. Details are with the pictures on their website from the link above. We have set this up for A4, 7 by 5 inch and 10 by 8 inch prints. We have no association with PhotoBox, but quality appears to be very good from results we’ve seen.

For larger prints: We can also supply bigger prints (any size you want) at reasonable prices, by supplying the reference of the photo you want (from the PhotoBox site). Please contact us via our contact form by clicking here if you require further details.

Home printing: For those wanting to make prints at home using an inkjet printer, various file sizes (JPEGs and TIFFs) can be emailed to you for a modest fee – again please contact us via our contact form by clicking here if you require more details.
