Getting Here
Useful Information
The Hook Fun Run & Road Races all start and finish at Hartlett’s Park in the centre of the village. We are surrounded by gorgeous countryside and both road race courses pass through the picturesque villages of Rotherwick and Newnham.
Parking is limited, therefore, please try and use public transport if you can. If you need to drive, please consider car-sharing and use one of the local car parks, if possible.
Travelling by car
Hook is located 1/2 mile North of Junction 5 on the M3, 12 miles south of Junction 11 on the M4 and 6 miles East of Basingstoke on the A30.
Parking is also available at Hook Railway Station car park, however, there is a fee to pay.
Please note: The Community Centre car park will not be available for parking and Ravenscroft is closed to non-residents.
Public Transport
Hook Railway Station is on the mainline from London Waterloo. The station is a 5-minute walk through the village to the start/finish in Hartlett’s Park (RG27 9NN).
You are advised to check the South West Trains website for timetables and also notification of any engineering work that may occur on the day.
